Experience and Expertise
I have been in the heating and A/C business since 1975 and earned my Marion
County contracting license in 1987. I have installed, serviced designed, sold both
residential and commercial heating refrigeration cooling and ventilation
equipment including commercial restaurant equipment. I have taught 19 years at
both ITT and Ivy Tech State College in their HVAC departments.
My specialty is troubleshooting systems both mechanical and electrical. In
addition to my Marion County contractor’s license, I am certified thru RSES
(Refrigeration Service Engineers Society) as both a refrigeration and heat pump
specialists as well as thru ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America) as a
certified Geothermal Designer and a Manual J 8 certified instructor. I am a
universal EPA certified technician through Ferris State University.
My vision for Star Heating and Cooling is to provide excellent personal service for
all my customers and to help solve their problem not just sell them equipment. I
am committed to doing the job right the first time, in a timely fashion, to leave the
job site neater than when we arrived, and a at cost to the customer that gives them
both value and reliability.
