Price goes up if the fan blade has to be replaced. Most of the time, the blade comes off. This price also doesn’t reflect the lower speed higher efficiency or 2 speed fan motors which are usually OEM. This price doesn’t include capacitor which might add $30 to 50 to the total depending on size.
